The Trading Post Mural

TASJA is in the early planning stages for murals on The Capistrano Trading Post in collaboration with Bill Ortega, the owner.  Bill has started prepping the walls by removing heavy vines growing on them. Removal of a tree is also being considered.  Early plans include murals depicting images of early California paintings for both sides of the building shown in the picture below.  Image selections would be from recommendations by the TASJA Art Advisory Panel with the final selection by Mr. Ortega.

A mural printed from an image of a the Mission painted by Nellie Gail Moulton will be installed on the back side of the Capistrano Trading Post. Nellie Gail was a rancher's wife and prolific painter. This location is ideal, it can be seen from the parking lot and the many restaurants in that area. Along with the planned beautification of Arguella Way
